Professional Biography
Yuldasheva Zimfira Zakirovna is a medical professional and academic with more than three decades of experience in epidemiology, public health, laboratory diagnostics, and medical education.
She began her medical education at the Tashkent state medical institute, where she studied from 1982 to 1988. This foundational medical training laid the groundwork for her future career in hygiene, epidemiology, and public health.
From 1988 to 1989, she worked as a Hygienist Physician at the Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Ryazan city, gaining practical experience in disease prevention, sanitary supervision, and public health protection.
Between 1989 and 2007, she served as an Epidemiologist at the Khorezm Regional Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance. During this period, she was also engaged in academic activity as an Assistant at the Urgench Medical College, combining public health practice with medical education and contributing to the training of mid-level healthcare professionals.
From 2007 to 2012, she held the position of Head of the Epidemiology Department at the Tashkent City AIDS Center. In this role, she coordinated epidemiological monitoring, prevention programs, and public health interventions related to HIV/AIDS. During the same period, she pursued further professional development studies.
Between 2012 and 2019, she worked as a Public Health Specialist within the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) project titled “Ensuring the Livelihood of the Population Affected by the Aral Sea Crisis.” In this international project, she contributed to health protection strategies, community-based public health initiatives, and crisis-affected population support programs in the Aral Sea region.
From 2019 to 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as a Laboratory Physician at the Republican Zangiota Specialized Hospital for COVID-19 Patients, playing an active role in laboratory diagnostics and management of coronavirus infection cases.
Between 2021 and 2023, she worked as an Assistant at the Department of General Hygiene at the Urgench Branch of Tashkent Medical Academy, where she was involved in teaching, research, and methodological work.
Since 2023, she has been serving as an Assistant at the Department of Histology and Medical Biology of Tashkent Medical Academy, continuing her academic and scientific career in medical education.
Throughout her career, Yuldasheva Zimfira Zakirovna has combined practical healthcare experience with academic teaching and international public health initiatives, contributing significantly to epidemiology, hygiene, and medical education in Uzbekistan.
