Dildora Ravshanovna Sobirova was born on March 1, 1988, in Tashkent into an intellectual family. From an early age, she distinguished herself by her curiosity and responsibility in learning. In 1994, she enrolled in the first grade of a general education school, where she became an active student, mastering academic subjects diligently. She successfully graduated from secondary school in 2005.
From 2005 to 2011, she studied at the Faculty of Medical and Preventive Care of Tashkent Medical Academy, gaining solid theoretical knowledge and practical skills in medicine. During her student years, she demonstrated interest in professional activity and, from 2009 to 2011, worked as an assistant epidemiologist at the State Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of Hamza District, Tashkent. During this period, she gained practical experience in public health protection and sanitary-epidemiological control.
From 2011 to 2014, she worked as an epidemiologist at the same institution. Between 2012 and 2014, she pursued a Master’s degree in Nutrition Hygiene at Tashkent Medical Academy. From 2014 to 2015, she served as an assistant at the Department of Epidemiology of Tashkent Medical Academy. From 2015 to 2018, she worked as a junior researcher at the Research Institute of Sanitation, Hygiene, and Occupational Diseases.
In 2018–2019, she continued her scientific work as a postdoctoral researcher at the same institute. From 2019 to 2021, she served as an assistant at the Department of Histology and Medical Biology of Tashkent Medical Academy. Between 2021 and 2024, she worked as a senior lecturer in the same department. In 2024–2025, she held the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Histology and Medical Biology. Since 2025, she has been working as an Associate Professor at the 1st Department of Histology and Medical Biology, Tashkent State Medical University.
In 2019, D. R. Sobirova earned the degree of PhD in Philosophy, and in 2025, she successfully defended her Doctor of Science (DSc) dissertation on “Experimental study of morphofunctional states of pulmonary vascular endothelium in diabetes mellitus”.
Throughout her scientific and pedagogical career, D. R. Sobirova has made a significant contribution to science, with over 150 publications. These include 2 textbooks, 5 study guides, nearly 20 educational-methodical manuals, 3 monographs, and approximately 150 scientific articles and conference proceedings published in national and international journals. Her work addresses pressing issues in medical science and is widely applied in teaching and research.
Currently, D. R. Sobirova is responsible for scientific work at her department, planning and organizing research, coordinating the activities of young researchers and students, and supervising the implementation of scientific results in practice.
In 2024, to enhance international academic mobility and adopt advanced foreign experience, she successfully completed professional development courses at Subharti University, India. This experience has contributed to the development of her scientific and pedagogical work and the introduction of modern innovative approaches into the educational process.
Her research outcomes have been published in prestigious national and international journals, conference proceedings, and educational-methodical manuals for higher education institutions. These contributions address current challenges in medical science and have both theoretical and practical significance.
Her main research focuses include experimental morphology, morphofunctional states of vascular endothelium, mechanisms of endothelial dysfunction, and the pathomorphological and pathogenetic bases of diabetes mellitus. The results of her studies contribute to the development of scientific recommendations for healthcare practice.
Currently, as an Associate Professor in higher education, D. R. Sobirova continues to enhance her pedagogical skills, train young specialists, develop clinical and scientific thinking in students, and organize and advance scientific research. She actively participates in introducing reforms in the healthcare system into education and practice, contributing to the development of the medical field in Uzbekistan.
