On July 10, 2025, the dissertation prepared in the specialty 14.00.02 – Morphology was successfully defended at a meeting of the Academic Council.
The research conducted by Islomova Shokhista Abdikhalilovna on the topic “Postnatal Development of the Offspring’s Thyroid Gland under the Influence of Pyrethroid Pesticides during Pregnancy” was submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Sciences.
This dissertation presents an in-depth scientific study of morphological changes in the postnatal development of the offspring’s thyroid gland resulting from the effects of pyrethroid pesticides on the maternal organism during pregnancy. Modern morphological, histological, and analytical methods were applied throughout the research, and the obtained results hold significant scientific and practical importance for the advancement of the field. The members of the Academic Council highly evaluated the relevance, scientific novelty, and practical significance of the dissertation and found the researcher worthy of the awarded academic degree.
This scientific achievement once again confirms the effectiveness of the fundamental and applied research conducted at our department and contributes to strengthening its position as a steadily developing scientific school and enhancing its academic reputation.
